Our Story — Nine Decades of Trust & Craft

Sarkar Jewellers has been a family-run jewellery house in Ahmedabad for generations. What began as a single workshop in the old city grew by reputation, not marketing into three flagship showrooms across C.G. Road, Satellite, and S.G. Highway. The workshop and the family that runs it have never changed hands. The same family designs, weighs, hallmarks, and hands over every piece that leaves our doors. Many of the brides we dress today are the daughters and granddaughters of brides we dressed before.

Every ornament we sell is BIS-hallmarked before it reaches you, weighed in your presence, and backed by our lifetime exchange and buyback commitment. Our karigars work in-house, most of them with us for two decades or longer which means the person who set the stone in your daughter’s mangalsutra will often be the same person who re-tips it thirty years later. Today’s gold and silver rate is published at our counters, on our website, and printed on every invoice. There is nothing about the making, the weight, or the price we ask you to take on faith.

Fine jewellery, in an Indian family, is rarely a single transaction.
