Heritage Jewellery

The jewellery your grandmother would have chosen — and so would you.
The Inspiration
A celebration of the designs that have shaped Indian jewellery for centuries. Our Heritage collection brings together motifs, techniques, and silhouettes drawn from royal courts, temple traditions, and the everyday elegance of generations past — reimagined in 22K hallmarked gold by our in-house karigars. Each piece is built to be worn now and inherited later.

A hand-engraved gold choker set with traditional rose motifs and hanging gold beads, drawn from late-Mughal silhouettes and finished entirely by hand at our Ahmedabad workshop. Designed for festive occasions, but quiet enough for everyday wear.

Common Questions

This collection is designed to feel like an heirloom from day one. It highlights classical craftsmanship techniques, such as hand-chasing, embossing (nakshi), and filigree. It incorporates historic design cues from our sub-collections like Rivaaz, Radhika, and Sakuntala, bringing back late-Mughal and traditional Gujarati designs for the modern wearer.
Antique gold jewellery undergoes a controlled oxidation process (often using black rhodium or organic coloring techniques) that deposits dark accents in the lower layers of the metal. Our karigars then polish the raised surfaces to a soft gold glow, creating a beautiful contrast that accentuates hand-carved floral, deity, or geometric motifs. This finish gives the piece a matte, historical character and requires minimal polishing over time.
We ensure that historical charm meets modern certification. In addition to the hallmark stamp, each piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity detailing the exact weights, purity grades, and any gemstone accents, guaranteeing that your heritage piece remains a certified asset.
Each sub-collection represents a specific design school:
  • Rivaaz: Focuses on traditional daily-wear and light festive ornaments with classical geometric repoussé work.
  • Radhika: Consists of heavy, ornate bridal neckpieces and kadas showcasing floral motifs and relief-carved deities.
  • Sakuntala: Features fluid, nature-inspired lines, replicating leaves, vines, and birds inspired by classical Indian literature.
The dark contrast on antique jewellery is a delicate surface patina. Liquid jewelry cleaners or polishing wheels will strip this layer off, leaving the piece looking uniformly shiny and losing its historical depth. To maintain the look:
  • Keep the jewellery away from water, sweat, perfumes, and cosmetic sprays.
  • Wipe down gently with a soft dry cloth after each wear.
  • Store in a separate box lined with cotton or velvet to prevent scratching from other metals.
