The Sarkar Legacy — A Timeline
1934s
Shri [Founder Name] Sarkar establishes the first workshop in old Ahmedabad, crafting traditional gold ornaments for local families.
1950s
Word-of-mouth reputation grows. The atelier becomes a destination for bridal sets across the Gujarati community.
1970s
Second generation takes charge. The workshop expands into its first formal showroom on C.G. Road.
1990s
BIS hallmarking adopted — among the first jewellers in Ahmedabad to voluntarily certify every piece. Diamond jewellery line launched.
2005
Satellite Road showroom opens, serving Ahmedabad’s rapidly expanding western suburbs.
2015
Science City showroom inaugurated, completing a triangle of presence across the city.
2020
Custom Jewellery Studio formalised, offering fully bespoke design consultations and CAD rendering for bridal and gifting customers.
2024
Daily Jewelry Collection sub-brand launched — demi-fine jewellery in silver and gold-plated, designed for everyday accessible luxury.
2026
